Children's Ministry Vision:
Encouraging young Disciples to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Christ Jesus.

Our youth are a lively part of our congregation. Our children’s ministry includes bible study, musical expression through song and dance, and application of knowledge through game play and crafts. We take children ages 5-10 to our classroom on the first and third Sundays of each month. The second Sunday of each month, our youth are active participants in the Sunday worship service. During youth Sunday, the children are responsible for reading scripture, leading prayer, ushering, and leading songs of praise. The children are the future of the church and they will own that role if they feel like a part of the life of the church. Also, the children are learning to worship and serve the Lord and His people. During the fourth Sunday, children stay in the sanctuary and stay actively engaged by taking worship notes on the service. After service, students review what they learned and are given a prize for their efforts in notetaking. Additionally, our children participate in our church Christmas and Easter programs by reciting poetry and scripture, theatrical reenactment, musical praise, and more. The totality of our children’s ministry is focused on introducing our children to Christ as their Lord and Savior and then progressing them to develop a relationship with Him. While participating in the children’s ministry, children learn to navigate the bible, find and read scripture, make connections to their own lives and apply what sayeth the Lord. The children are taught the major stories and characters of the Bible and Jesus is the center. Furthermore, we encourage parents to partner with our ministry to teach Jesus by living Holy lives that exemplify righteousness. Together, we are starting a fire in the hearts of our youth that can last a lifetime.
